Review Process

All abstracts submitted to C-BIO-2026 undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, relevance, and innovation.

1

Review Process

IRC Impact Research Communications and the scientific committee members of C-BIO-2026 ensure a rigorous, high-quality, and unbiased peer review process for all abstracts submitted to the conference.

The committee will decide whether each abstract is more appropriate for an oral or poster presentation. Eligibility will be determined by the total score with adjustments for variations in scoring behaviour.

The committee employs a single- or double-blind peer review process for all submitted abstracts, maintaining anonymity of reviewers and authors.

2

Peer Review Steps

All submitted abstracts are initially reviewed by the internal editorial team to ensure they adhere to the conference scope. Abstracts that pass screening are assigned to the session chair/review committee.

The session chair determines whether reviews from independent experts are required. Authors are given 14 days to resubmit revised abstracts if revisions are requested.

Abstracts submitted by invited or keynote speakers will be reviewed by the conference chairman.

Criteria To Be Considered For Scoring
